So, you want a healthier head of hair and a happier scalp? Well many things come into factor here such as nutrition, stress, your adrenals and thyroid, water intake, products you are using, medications, etc. Today I am going to focus on something you can do, right now! At home. Use our jade comb! The Jade stone is believed to carry nourishing and gentle energy. It is considered a symbol of beauty, grace and longevity- how lovely is that!?

Why does the jade comb work well to help create a happier environment on the head?

When using the jade comb to massage your hair, you in turn stimulate the scalp which helps in increasing blood circulation. With better circulation comes more oxygen and increased flow of nutrition. This can help to make your hair grow longer and stronger! Not to mention, it feels amazing and really does release a ton of stress that we keep in our scalps. When tension is reduced, everything lays softer… even the muscles that extend to our beautiful faces. This is also a very helpful technique if you wear your hair up a lot, and you have a lot of pulling going on.

According to research, scalp massage increases hair thickness by stretching the cells of hair follicles. What does this mean? It means your cute little follicles could produce thicker hair + encourage growth!  

If you want to see results, I recommend doing a little routine every night. It’s just like anything else, if you want to hit a goal, you have to be consistent.

How to do it?

It’s a beautiful routine to do with a carrier oil (like jojoba), or a formulated hair oil and an essential oil blend meant for hair heath. Rosemary is wonderful! The more soreness you can get rid of, the easier the flow of oxygen, nutrients and blood to the scalp.
