Elderberry Immune Elixir

This Immune Elixir combines powerful anti-microbial, fever reducing, and immune supportive herbs to potentially fight colds and flus while supporting and nourishing the body. Essential during Transitional months, like Fall, as we need physical & energetic support to our bodies + Spirits through the changes seasons.

A combination of Elderberry, Yarrow, Turkey Tail mushroom, Rosehips, Cinnamon, Clove, Anise, and Raw Organic Ontario Honey.

Elderberries are known for their immune enhancing, and anti-viral benefits. Elder is also a protective ally during times of transition - holding space as we navigate liminal times such as the transition from darker months to light, or vice versa (Winter to Spring; Fall to Winter). WORK WITH ELDERBERRY ELIXIR:

Best worked with for prevention, and at the very first sign of a cold or flu. This particular combo is helpful for overall immune support & blood building. 1 spoonful 2-3x a day for prevention; or every 2 hours during first signs of acute illness. Some studies are showing Elderberry is effective toward the end of colds + flus as well to keep the immune system healthy.

CHILDREN'S Recipe : Add to water and freeze for Elderberry Popsicles for stomach bugs, and other colds/flus. Or, give it straight off of the spoon - little ones love it! Not for children under 1 year. Always see practitioner.

FESTIVE ELIXIR recipe: Add to Champagne, or Elderflower Soda Water for an herbal elixir cocktail ;) Splash of Pomegranate juice is also delicious.

ABOUT THE MEDICINES:

Elderberries work best at the very first sign of a cold or flu, and studies have shown that if taken early, they may reduce the duration and intensity of colds/flus. They aren’t quite as effective if the illness has really set in, which is why we add Turkey Tail, Yarrow and warming herbs to assist the body in mounting a proper fever response and helping to fight the infection/pathogens.

Turkey Tail is a powerful anti-microbial, anti-cancer, and immune boosting mushroom. They are deeply grounding and nourishing. Helping re-weave patterns of disharmony, and create new aligned ways forward.

Yarrow offers protection, both physical and energetic, to help us ward off seasonal colds/flus as well as reduce fever.

Rosehips are high in Vitamin C, which our body needs more of when fighting an infection.

The warming herbs are delicious & comforting, as well as promote circulation in order to get our blood moving and send our pathogen fighting Immune cells where they need to go!

Lastly, raw local Organic Honey helps to keep the Elixir shelf stable, adds sweetness, soothes a sore throat and cough, and has beneficial enzymes to add to the anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory actions of this syrup.
