The softest natural fiber make-up brush! An effective large brush head and ergonomic handle all made from sustainable materials.
A kabuki brush is used to apply any sort of powder make-up on large surfaces of the face (loose powder, foundation, face powder, blush, bronzer). Because of its design, the brush applies makeup evenly on the skin.
What Is A Kabuki Brush? Named after the Japanese drama theaters where they were used to help create elaborate makeup, the traditional kabuki brush has a short handle and dense bristles with a rounded shape.
Wash: Rinse brush head gently under lukewarm water, with the brush at a 45 degree angle pointing down, using fingers to massage Shampoo/Soap to hair. Apply in the direction of the hair from ferrule towards top. Rinse gently under running water, thoroughly.
These brushes have been consciously hand-crafted by their collective of visually impaired artisans at Sweden’s IRIS HANTVERK. The goat hair bristles are responsibly sourced and ethically collected, and the oil-treated solid birch handle is certified responsibly forested.
All brushes are of exclusive design and made mostly from natural materials.
In the late 1900s century a small brush manufacturing started out in Stockholm. It was a successful movement so successful that it remains today. Now, as then, every brush is made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen. It brings new dimensions to the concept of sensitively made by hand.
